Jhabua: It is very difficult to control the sense of food. Upon seeing food, a living being craves food. With the Paryushan festival, the sense of food has been opened up for all of you.
The desire to eat is always there. The living being is locked in the chamber of the world. Only if one practices penance can one get out of this chamber. These words were spoken by Veerjeet Pujya Mahasati Pragya Ji for Sanyam Upvan Varshavas at the Masakshaman Tapa Anumodana program of Arham Ghorawat at Mahavir Bhawan located in Runwal Bazaar. Mahasati Pragya ji further said that the supreme Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavir Swami ji performed rigorous penance for twelve and a half years with unwavering devotion and he attained Keval Gyan Darshan. Following the words of the Lord, today our Arham Bhaiya has performed severe penance of 31 fasts. Arham Bhaiya has done his entire penance with equanimity. There were three specialities of Arham Bhaiya's penance: not only did you give up food but also controlled your speech. You remained mostly silent during the penance and you also reduced your sleep. Such a huge penance at such a young age is definitely praiseworthy and praiseworthy. Mahasati ji also praised the family members who helped the child ascetic in his penance.
