ANTI-NARCOTICS CELL, CENTRAL DISTRICT, TIGHTEN NOOSE ON PROCLAIMED OFFENDERS, ONE ARRESTED.

• ONE PROCLAIMED OFFENDER ARRESTED BY THE TEAM OF ANTI-NARCOTICS CELL, CENTRAL DISTRICT.

• ACCUSED PERSON WAS ARRESTED ON THE BASIS OF LOCAL INFORMATION AND MANUAL SURVEILLANCE.

• ACCUSED PERSON WAS EVADING THE JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS TO DODGE THE PUNISHMENT.

A special drive against proclaimed offenders is being continuously carried out in the Central District. During the drive, the dedicated team of Anti-narcotics cell arrested a Proclaimed offender namely Deapak.

TEAM & OPERATION: -

A dedicated team of Anti-Narcotics Cell, comprised of ASI Sunil, HC Manish, HC Anuj and W/Ct. Janki was constituted under the supervision of Insp Ashish K. Dubey and overall supervision of ACP Ops Ms. Sulekha Jagarwar.

The team continued to work on technical and manual information to trace the proclaimed offender, Deapak.

The team visited the residence of the accused person, but he was not available. The team maintained close monitoring through technical surveillance, and information was also gathered from secret informers.

On September 19, 2025, an information was received that the accused person, Deapak., was present near Rupali Enclave Ghevra, Delhi. The team from Anti-Narcotics Cell, immediately reached the spot, and on the informer's instance, the accused Deapak r/o Bintoly Bichwara Beghusarai, Bihar, Age-22 years. was arrested from Rupali Enclave Ghevra, Delhi.

Upon checking the records, it was found that accused Deepak, was declared a proclaimed offender in case FIR No-95/2019, U/s 363/376/174A IPC & 6 POCSO Act, P.S – Sadar Bazar Delhi, on 15/03/2022 by the Hon'ble Court of Sh. Kuldeep Narayanj ASJ Centre T.H.C Court Delhi. Accordingly, the accused person was arrested.
