District Collector Jayati Singh inspected the One Stop Sakhi Center and issued instructions to further strengthen services.

Barwani. District Collector Jayati Singh inspected the One Stop Sakhi Center, run by the Women and Child Development Department. During the inspection, she thoroughly reviewed the legal, medical, and psychological counseling services provided to women.

The Collector stated that this center serves as an important source of protection and support for women in distress, and therefore, the services provided here must be strengthened and enhanced. She directed the concerned officials to ensure that every victimized woman receives timely and prompt assistance and that there is no negligence.

During the inspection, she inspected the counseling room, medical consultation room, and temporary shelter facilities at the Sakhi Center. She also spoke with the team present there to learn about the progress made so far and the challenges ahead.

Collector Jayati Singh stated that the privacy, respect, and safety of victimized women should be given top priority. He also directed that concrete steps be taken to ensure speedy justice for victims by establishing better coordination with the police, health department, and legal services.

Officials from the Women and Child Development Department informed the Collector that numerous women have been provided immediate assistance, counseling, and essential services at the Sakhi Center.

The District Collector commended the team's work, stating that such initiatives increase women's confidence and sense of security and send a positive message to society.
