DESPERATE WANTED CRIMINAL PRINCE @ SUJAL ARRESTED FROM MUMBAI IN ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE

ACCUSED WAS ABSCONDING SINCE FEBRUARY AFTER COMMITTING CRIME & KEPT CHANGING LOCATIONS TO EVADE ARREST

With relentless efforts and professional policing, a dedicated police team of PS Jahangir Puri has successfully apprehended a desperate wanted criminal Prince @ Sujal, S/o Hukam Chand R/o G-475/76, Jahangir Puri, Delhi, Age- 22 Years who was absconding in a heinous Attempt to Murder case. The accused was arrested from Mumbai after continuous technical surveillance, field intelligence, and coordinated operations with local police.

? Brief facts of the incident:-

On the complaint of Aditya S/o Mukesh R/o G-737, Jahangir Puri, Delhi, Age- 16 years an FIR No.114/25 U/s 109(1)/3(5) BNS & 27 Arms Act dt. 03/02/2025 was registered at PS Jahangir Puri. He reported that on 03/02/2025 at about 03:10 AM, accused Harsh @ Achu S/o Sarvesh @ Appu and Prince @ Sujal S/o Hukum Chand, along with their associates, fired 3–4 rounds upon him and his friends due to personal enmity.

• On 04/02/2025, accused Harsh @ Achu was arrested and disclosed that he and Prince @ Sujal had fired upon the victims using a pistol provided by Prince.

• On 29/03/2025, accused Girish S/o Gangadhar and Ankit S/o Mehar Singh were also arrested, who confirmed the active role of Harsh and Prince @ Sujal.

? Team & Investigation Efforts:-

Despite repeated search operations, accused Prince @ Sujal remained absconding and kept changing locations multiple times to evade arrest. Intensive search efforts were carried out at his possible hideouts using technical surveillance, manual intelligence, and local enquiries. The staff of PS Jahangir Puri successfully traced the wanted accused in Mumbai. A dedicated police team comprising Insp. Somil Sharma, IO/SI Shashank, SI Dinesh Dahiya, HC Dinesh Meena, HC Sunil, and HC Ramchander, under the guidance of Insp. Satvinder Singh, SHO PS Jahangir Puri, Sh. Yogendra Khokhar, ACP/ Jahangir Puri, and overall supervision of the undersigned, proceeded to Mumbai to nab wanted accused Prince @ Sujal.

With the assistance of local police, the accused was successfully located at his mother’s residence in Khar Danda, Mumbai. The team of PS Jahangir Puri, with the support of local staff of PS Khar, Mumbai, apprehended the accused Prince @ Sujal, S/o Hukam Chand, Age 22 years.

Interrogation of Accused:-

During interrogation, accused Prince @ Sujal admitted his active involvement in the crime. He disclosed that he, along with co-accused Harsh @ Achu, had fired upon the victim due to personal enmity. He further revealed that the weapon used in the incident was arranged and provided by him.

Prince @ Sujal, S/o Hukam Chand R/o G-475/76, Jahangir Puri, Delhi, Age- 22 Years. Previous involvement:- Nil

Further investigation of the case is in progress.
