On Virendra Sachdeva's instructions, Minority Front collected relief material worth lakhs of rupees for flood victims in just two days

New Delhi, September 10: Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva today announced that Delhi BJP, Delhi Government and Delhi Municipal Corporation will celebrate a special "Seva Pakhwada" on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday.

This campaign will start from Prime Minister's birthday, September 17, and will continue till Mahatma Gandhi's birthday, October 2. Under this, cleanliness drive will be conducted, health checkup and blood donation camps will be organised and BJP workers will also do many works of service.

Shri Virendra Sachdeva said that this is the festival season and this is the reason why Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that wherever we celebrate festivals, we must take care of cleanliness.

While answering the question raised by Saurabh Bhardwaj on putting up the picture of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, he said that at least now Aam Aadmi Party and especially Saurabh Bhardwaj should not give such advice because this Delhi has seen how Durga Puja committees and Chhath committees were threatened in the name of donations that if they do not put up the picture of Arvind Kejriwal, then they will not get the money and apart from this, in many places their MLAs were also seen beating the members of the committee.

Shri Virendra Sachdeva said that Bharatiya Janata Party works with the spirit of service and you have seen its example when 52 trucks full of relief material for the flood victims have been sent to Punjab and the service process is continuing.

After the instructions of Shri Virendra Sachdeva, in the last two days, Delhi BJP Minority Morcha has collected material for the flood victims, in which essential items like clothes, bedsheets, kitchen utensils and small gas cylinders have been collected especially from Muslim dominated areas like Seelampur, Jafrabad, Ballimaran, Matia Mahal etc. for the help of flood affected people.

Minority Front President Mr. Anees Abbasi told that the Minority Front has collected pressure cookers, cylinders, slippers, blankets, utensils etc. worth more than Rs. 10 lakh from various Muslim areas with the help of State officials and local dignitaries and will soon deliver them to the needy.
