On the occasion of 138th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant, Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Prakash Birla, Delhi Assembly Speaker Shri Vijender Gupta, Delhi Government Minister Shri Pravesh Sahib Singh, Assembly Deputy Speaker Shri Mohan Singh Bisht, former Union Minister Shri Ajay Bhatt and many other dignitaries participated in a function organized in the park outside the Parliament premises and paid floral tribute by garlanding his statue.

The program was organized by Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant Samaroh Samiti convenor and former MLA Dr. S.C.L. Gupta and he greeted the dignitaries present.

Shri Om Birla said that Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant was a simple personality dedicated to public service who never left the path of honesty while holding various positions in his life.
