Flood Relief in Action: Aahwahan Foundation Aids 32,000 Bihar Families

Aahwahan Foundation is pleased to announce the successful distribution of 32,000 essential relief kits to families severely affected by the recent floods in Bihar. The initiative, launched in response to the catastrophic impact of incessant rains that have displaced over 25 lakh people across multiple districts, is aimed at providing urgent humanitarian support where it is needed most.

"When a family loses all to floodwaters, they require something beyond food; concern that they are not isolated. In each kit, we bring the message of concern, hope, and solidarity. We are committed not just to providing relief in the short term but also to bringing back a measure of dignity and hope to the lives shattered by this tragedy. We are determined to be on the ground and make sure help reaches those most in need.”

Every kit has food, water, sanitary products, and other essential items. These kits are designed to provide immediate support to families grappling with loss, hunger, and uncertainty. The distribution drive has made it to the worst-hit districts such as Patna , Bhojpur , Saran , Vaishali , Khagaria , Bhagalpur , Madhepura , Munger , Katihar , Samastipur , Darbhanga , Saharsa , and Begusarai.
