01 INTERSTATE ILLICIT LIQUOR SUPPLIER ARRESTED WITH 1200 QUARTERS OF ILLICIT LIQUOR, BEING FERRIED IN HYUNDAI SANTRO CAR, BY THE TEAM OF SPECIAL STAFF, DWARKA DISTRICT.

• 24 CARTONS (1200 QUARTERS) OF ILLICIT LIQUOR RECOVERED.

• HYUNDAI SANTRO CAR USED IN SMUGGLING OF ILLICIT LIQUOR ALSO SEIZED.

INTRODUCTION: -

The team of Special Staff, Dwarka District has achieved a notable success by apprehending interstate illicit liquor supplier namely Ram S/o Naveen, aged 32 Years and recovering 24 cartons (1200 quarters) of illegal liquor meant for sale in Haryana.

The team also seized a Hyundai Santro Car (DL8CTXXXX) used in the smuggling operation.

TASKING & TEAMS: -

Acting on the directions of DCP Dwarka District - Sh. Ankit Singh IPS, the team of Special Staff was tasked with keeping a vigil on individuals involved in supplying of illegal liquor from Haryana to Dwarka or nearby areas. The team conducted surveillance at interstate borders, and deployed local sources to gather information.

INFORMATION & ARREST :-

On 28 July 2025, HC Vijender of Special Staff, Dwarka District received information about a Hyundai Santo Car involved in illicit liquor supply.

On that information a raiding team led by Insp. Vishvendra Choudhary, comprising HC Vijender Silayach No. 1039/DW, HC Adesh No. 957/DW, HC Jagdish No. 2555/DW, Ct. Pradeep No. 10904/DAP, Ct. Ravi No. 927/DW was formed under the supervision of Sh. Ramavtar ACP Ops. Dwarka to apprehend the suppliers. The team conducted raids at Old Palam Road, Kakrola, Delhi and one person namely Ram S/o Naveen, R/o Block R, Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, Delhi, aged 32 Years, was apprehended with Hyundai Santro CAR bearing No. DL8CTXXXX having 24 cartons of illicit liquor meant for sale in Haryana only.

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 329/25, Dt. 28-08-2025, U/S 33/38/58 Delhi Excise Act was registered at PS Dwarka North.

Interrogation revealed that the accused were motivated by easy money and had been supplying illegal liquor from Haryana to Delhi.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON: -

Ram S/o Naveen, R/o Block R, Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, Delhi, aged 32 Years.

He is 12th pass and he is currently unemployed. He had indulged in supply of illicit liquor for himself, Delhi.

CASE WORKED OUT: -

FIR No. 329/25, Dt. 28.08.25, U/S 33/38/58(d) Delhi Excise Act, PS Dwarka North, Delhi.

RECOVERY: -

• 24 BOXES OF ILLICIT LIQUOR (1200 QUARTERS).

• One Hyundai Santro Car No. DL8CTXXXX.

Further investigation is going on.
