HABITUAL THIEF & PROCLAIMED OFFENDER WITH LONG CRIMINAL RECORD NABBED BY ANTI-NARCOTICS CELL TEAM, CENTRAL DISTRICT

• ONE PROCLAIMED OFFENDER ARRESTED BY THE TEAM OF ANTI-NARCOTICS CELL, CENTRAL DISTRICT.

• ACCUSED PERSON WAS ARRESTED ON THE BASIS OF LOCAL INFORMATION AND MANUAL SURVEILLANCE.

• ACCUSED WAS EVADING JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS TO ESCAPE PUNISHMENT.

• ACCUSED HAS MULTIPLE PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENTS IN THEFT CASES AND ONE CASE UNDER THE ARMS ACT ACROSS DELHI.

A special drive against proclaimed offenders is being continuously carried out in the Central District. During the drive, the dedicated team of Anti-narcotics cell arrested a Proclaimed offender namely Anil.

TEAM & OPERATION: -

A dedicated team of Anti-Narcotics Cell, comprised of ASI Sunil, HC Manish, HC Anuj was constituted under the supervision of Insp Ashish K. Dubey and overall supervision of ACP Ops Ms. Sulekha Jagarwar.

The team continued to work on technical and manual information to trace the proclaimed offender, Anil.

The team visited the residence of the accused person, but he was not available. The team maintained close monitoring through technical surveillance and information was also gathered from secret informers.

On September 06, 2025, in early hours, an information was received that the accused person, Anil, was present near Kalayanpuri, Delhi. The team from Anti-Narcotics Cell, immediately reached the spot, and on the informer's instance, the accused Anil, r/o Kalayanpuri, Delhi, Age-26 years was apprehended from the spot.

Upon checking the records, it was found that accused Anil was declared a proclaimed offender in case FIR No-475/2023, U/s 379/411 IPC, P.S -Kamla Market Delhi on 29/08/2025 by the Hon'ble Court of Ms. Bharti Beniwal JMFC T.H.C Court Delhi. Accordingly, the accused person was arrested.
