Indore. Collector Ashish Singh of Indore, the cleanest city in the country, is emphasizing on improving the traffic of the city. Under this, on the instructions of Collector Ashish Singh, the Regional Transport Office Indore is continuously checking public transport vehicles, buses, school vehicles and other vehicles. During the action, intensive checking of buses was done at Jhabua Tower and Patel Bridge. During the inspection, fitness, permit, insurance, PUC, tax certificates of vehicles were also checked. Overloading in buses, overcharging was also checked. People are also being encouraged to get HSRP number plates installed on their vehicles. Vehicle speed, speed governor and documents are being checked. Action was taken against buses not having documents, carrying more passengers than the capacity, violating permit conditions, and haphazardly parked buses. During checking, 10 buses were seized for being found haphazardly parked at Rajkumar Bridge, Vallabhnagar. Also, travel and bus operators were appealed to run their buses only from the designated places, otherwise the buses will be seized. This action of seizing buses operating haphazardly and from places other than the designated places will continue continuously.
