Meo Educational Welfare Awareness Trust honoured 400 Muslim meritorious children

Indore. In Indore, the cleanest city of the country, MP Shankar Lalwani honoured 400 Muslim meritorious children under the banner of Meo Educational Welfare Awareness Trust. The grand Medhavi Samman Samaroh 2025 was organised by the Trust at Mangeshkar Hall, Indore. On this occasion, about 400 meritorious students (students who scored more than 75% marks in class 10th and 12th board exams) were honoured by presenting them with a magazine, a certificate, a beautiful pen and a memento. The programme was conducted by Abdul Hafeez Banarasi and Advocate Mohammad Sharib Khan. Chief Guest MP Shankar Lalwani, Retired Judge Mohd. Shamim Khan, Dr. Suresh Patel (Honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award), Dr. Mohd. Wasim Khan (Professor of Economics, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya) Special guests included father of Avesh Khan (famous cricketer) Ashiq Khan, Dr. Naseem Ahmed Khan (Principal, Safia College, Bhopal), Advocate Anees Ahmed Warsi (MP High Court), Inspector Ajaz Khan (Customs Headquarters Indore), member of Indore Press Club, senior journalist Tahir Kamal Siddiqui, Chhotu Bharti, working superintendent Hindi Sahitya Samiti, Habib Baig Sahab (ICB-Bank), Vijay Yadav (former officer Nehru Yuva Kendra), Abid Hussain Meo Bank Manager SBI, Shaukat Ali Mansoori Barwani, Sadiq Chanderi Barwani, retired BSNL officer Shahid Khan Sahab, trustees of Mewati Trust included Haji Mohammad Ayub Khan, Asif Meo, Mohammad Margoob Meo, Haji Yakub Khan, Rais Khan Sir (Medi Squad Neat Classes), Mohammad Zafar Meo (Babloo), Mohammad Irfan Chishti, Sabdar Khan Thekedar, Teacher Habib Khan Sahab, Teacher Liaquat Khan Sahab Kantafod, Teacher Tayyab Hussain, Mushtaq Khan Sir, Ghazanfar Sir, Noor Mohammad Alwasa and many dignitaries from social and educational fields came from different cities. The special attraction was the release of the magazine "Parvaz" in the presence of Indore MP Shankar Lalwani and retired judge Mohammad Shamim Sahab and all the members of the trust. Dr. Suresh Patel was given the Lifetime Achievement Award 2025 for his contribution in the field of education and culture. Prof. Asad Khan (IK College) and Dr. Puneet Gupta gave motivational speeches to the students. The welcome address was given by the founder president of the trust Haji Shamsuddin Chishti and he wished for the bright future of the children. This ceremony is a symbol of the efforts of the society to promote education and inspire the new generation. In his motivational speech, MP Lalwani encouraged the minority community's attachment to education and called upon the children to come forward for professional education. Dr. Suresh Patel said that the more schools open in a village or city, the more liquor shops will be closed. If the community is connected to education, then it means that it has been kept away from the habit of addiction. Only then will the society be a progressive society. In the end, Advocate Sharib Khan thanked all the guests.
