Preparations for Ramleela and Durga Puja have begun in Delhi. Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva today participated in the Bhoomi Pujan (ground-breaking ceremony) of the Nav Shri Dharmik Leela Committee to be held at Red Fort Parade Ground, along with Delhi Mayor Sardar Raja Iqbal Singh. Following this, Shri Sachdeva, along with former MP Smt. Locket Chatterjee, addressed a meeting of Durga Puja Samitis organized by the party’s Bengal Cell at the state office.

Shri Virendra Sachdeva stated that whether it is Ramleela or Durga Puja, both symbolize the victory of truth over falsehood and represent India’s religious and social greatness.

He added that these committees and Samitis are preserving our cultural heritage and working to instill values in the new generation.

Shri Virendra Sachdeva and Smt. Locket Chatterjee, during the meeting organized by the Bengal Cell, discussed the concerns of Durga Puja Samiti officials from various parts of Delhi along with the Cell’s in-charge Shri Tapas Roy, Convenor Shri Kishore Tarafdar, and Co-Convenor Shri Arun Mukherjee. Delhi BJP Cell's Incharge Shri Ashok Thakur was also present. 

Shri Virendra Sachdeva assured that they will ensure all Durga Puja Samitis receive necessary administrative support in a timely manner.
