MISSING/KIDNAPPED/REWARDED WOMEN RECOVERED BY AGS, CRIME BRANCH, DELHI

INTRODUCTION:
In a significant achievement, a team of the Anti-Gang and Snatching (AGS) unit of the Crime Branch, Delhi, has successfully recovered a 23years old girl, who had been reported missing/kidnapped. The operation was conducted through sustained and coordinated efforts, including careful analysis of technical inputs and on-ground intelligence gathering. A reward of Rs. 20,000/- vide order No. 8453-8490/Co-Ordination Branch-I (Desk-III)/PHQ, dated 20.03.2023 was declared by Worthy CP/Delhi on her trace.

CASE DETAILS:
On 29.01.2023, DD entry No. 58 A, was lodged regarding missing of a 23 years old lady in PS Samaipur Badli, District Outer North, Delhi. The victim’s sudden absence caused deep concern for her family, prompting the Delhi Police to launch an immediate search and investigative effort to trace her whereabouts.

INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION:
Acting on the directions of senior officers, a special team of AGS/Crime Branch comprising ASI Ravi Lamba, W/HC Ruby and Ct. Manoj Kumar was formed under the supervision of Inspector Kashmiri Lal and overall guidance of ACP/AGS, Sh. Bhagwati Prashad. The team employed a multi-pronged strategy involving the analysis of multiple Call Detail Records (CDRs) related to the victim and possible suspects. Parallel to this technical evaluation, on-ground enquiries were conducted to gather actionable leads.
Late into the investigation, ASI Ravi Lamba, W/HC Ruby and Ct Manoj Kumar received a credible tip-off indicating the presence of the missing lady near Siraspur Village, Delhi. The team immediately acted on this intelligence and carried out a carefully planned raid in the area. Their swift and meticulous efforts resulted in the safe recovery of the victim.
Following the tracing/recovery of the lady was brought to PS Samaipur Badli Village and handed over to the Investigating Officer vide DD No. 81 A, dated 26.08.2025 PS Samaipur Badli, District Outer North, Delhi. Further necessary legal action and investigation will be carried out by the concerned police authorities to ensure the victim’s safety and bring those responsible to justice.

This successful operation underscores the unwavering commitment of the Delhi Police, particularly the AGS/Crime Branch, to trace missing persons especially vulnerable minors and restore them safely to their families.
