Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of Luv Kush Ramlila Committee held at Red Fort Ground

The Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of the country's renowned Luv Kush Ramlila Committee was held in a grand manner at the Red Fort Ground.

The Chairman of the Committee, Shri Arjun Kumar, said that this year's grand Ramlila staging will be held from 22 September to 3 October 2025 and Dussehra festival will be celebrated with great pomp across the country on 2 October 2025.

The Bhoomi Pujan program was inaugurated by the hands of Delhi Chief Minister Mrs. Rekha Gupta and MP Shri Praveen Khandelwal. On this occasion, worship was performed with chanting of mantras and rituals by learned Brahmins of Vrindavan, Mathura and Delhi.

The Chairman of the Committee, Shri Arjun Kumar, honored all the guests by presenting them a sash, a memento and a mace, a symbol of power.

In her address, Chief Guest Chief Minister Mrs. Rekha Gupta said, “Luv Kush Ramlila Committee is keeping Indian culture and traditions alive. It not only stages the Leela of Lord Shri Ram, but is also active in social service and public welfare works. Delhi Government will ensure that Ramlilas do not face any kind of trouble. For this, a single window system will be implemented for all permissions.”

Expressing gratitude to the Delhi Government, Shri Arjun Kumar said that abolition of police license process for Ramlilas and allocation of 25–40% ground for the fair by DDA is a big relief for the artists and organizers.

He also informed that this year Ramlila will be staged with high-tech digital staging. It will be telecast live on about 100 domestic and foreign TV channels. This time about 40 Bollywood film artists will perform.

Committee's General Secretary Mr. Subhash Goyal said that on this occasion, many dignitaries including Ms. Bansuri Swaraj MP, Mr. Yogendra Chandolia MP, Mr. Vijendra Gupta Speaker Delhi Assembly, Mr. Ashok Goyal Deorha MLA, Mr. Anil Sharma MLA, Mr. Purandip Singh Sahni MLA, Mr. Pehlad Singh Sahni former MLA, Mr. Anil Bhardwaj former MLA, Mr. Arvind Garg District President Chandni Chowk, former Mayor Jaiprakash JP, police officers, administrative officers were honored.

On this occasion, a beautiful cultural program was also presented, which mesmerized the audience present.

In the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony, many dignitaries including committee officials and members Pawan Gupta, Satyabhushan Jain, Shri RK Gupta, Praveen Goyal, Sandeep Bhutani, Gaurav Gupta, Ankur Goyal, Rajkumar Gupta, Gaurav Suri, Lokesh Bansal, Rajesh Verma, Anil Gupta, Ashok Kumar, Vishal Gupta, Rajkumar Kashyap, Sanjay Verma, Madan Aggarwal, Praveen Singhal, Atul Gupta, Mukul Gupta, Sanjay Jain, Prashant Malik, Dinanath Sonkar, Sunil Kumar, Nishant Gupta, Raja Pandey were present.
