WITH THE ARREST OF TWO NOTORIOUS CRIMINALS, CASE OF ARMED ROBBERY WITH KNIFE OF PS VIJAY VIHAR WORKED OUT

BOTH NOTORIOUS HAVE ALREADY BEEN INVOLVED IN SEPARATE MURDER CASES OF ROHINI DISTT.

In a significant breakthrough, the Crime Branch, Northern Range-I, has successfully apprehended two notorious criminals namely Bhavesh Kumar Kalra s/o Vinod Kumar r/o Vijay Vihar Delhi Age-25 years and Deepak @ Judi s/o Anil Kumar r/o Budh Vihar, Delhi Age-24 years wanted in an armed robbery with knife of PS-Vijay Vihar registered vide case FIR No. 499/25, Dated-22/08/25, U/S-309(6)/311/351(2)/3(5) BNS. With the arrest of both notorious cases has been worked out.

INFORMATION & OPERATION:

On August 29, 2025, the Crime Branch, Northern Range-I, demonstrated its commitment to public safety by successfully arresting two notorious criminals namely Bhavesh Kumar Kalra s/o Vinod Kumar Age-25 years and Deepak @ Judi s/o Anil Kumar Age-24 years, wanted in an armed robbery with knife PS-Vijay Vihar, Delhi.

The NR-1, Crime Branch team has been entrusted with the task of apprehending individuals involved in the above-mentioned case. Thereupon, a team led by Insp. Pukhraj Singh comprising SI Niranjan, ASI Pawan, HC Sachin, HC Narender, HC Parveen, Ct Manoj & HC Mukesh under the overall supervision of Sh. Ashok Sharma ACP/NR-I, was constituted by Sh. Harsh Indora, IPS, DCP/Crime Branch to nab the accused person.

During this, on 29.08.2025, a crucial tip off was received by HC Parveen of NR-I, Crime Branch, Delhi, regarding location of accused Deepak @ Judi in Mangolpuri and location of Bhavya @ Bhavesh near Lal Quarters, sector-4, Rohini. Accordingly, at the instance of the informer, the team laid a good trap and detained the accused Bhavesh @ Bhavya and Deepak @ Judi.

INCIDENT:

On 21/08/25, at about 10:15 PM, the complainant Smt. Rekha w/o Rinku r/o Budh Vihar Phase-1, Delhi Age-34 years was filing the water from submersible in front of her house, then accused Bhavnesh @ Bhavya came to her along with his two associates and shown the knife to the complainant robbed her mobile phone, purse (containing Rs. 2000/-) and snatched her ear ring under the fear to kill her. According the above-mentioned case was registered and investigation taken up.

It is pertinent to mentioned here that accused Deepak has been jailed for more than 5 years in a murder case of PS- Budh Vihar and presently running on interim bail since May 2025, whereas accused Bhavesh has been jailed for more than 7 years in a murder case of PS-Vijay Vihar, Delhi.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED:

Bhavesh @ Bhavya:

Accused Bhavesh belongs to a poor family. He is survived with three sisters and mother in his family. He studied up-to 10 class and due to his poor condition could not carry on his further study and turned into the world of crime. The accused is addicted of Ganja and has been bailed out on 16/04/25 after 7 years of jail in a murder case of PS-Vijay Vihar, Delhi registered vide Case FIR No. 551/18, u/s-302/397/34 IPC, PS-Vijay Vihar, Delhi

Deepak @ Judi:

Accused Deepak @ Judi belongs to a poor family. He is survived with two sisters, 3 brother and mother in his family. He studied up-to 10 class and due to his poor condition could not carry on his further study and turned into the world of crime. The accused is addicted of smack and has been bailed out on 07/05/25 after 5 years of jail in a murder case of PS-Budh Vihar, Delhi registered vide Case FIR No. 158/20, U/s-302 IPC & 25 Arms Act, PS-Budh Vihar, Delhi.
