NOTORIOUS ROBBER, WANTED IN ROBBERY CASE OF PS SADAR BAZAR, DELHI ARRESTED BY ARSC CRIME BRANCH.

ACCUSED IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 6 CASES OF ROBBERY, RAPE, BURGLARY & RAILWAY PROTECTION ACT.

INTRODUCTION

Team of ARSC, Crime Branch, Delhi has arrested a desperate robber, Mahesh @ Golu (29 Yrs.) from Dumoli Khurd, Singhana, Rajasthan, who was wanted in a robbery case of PS Sadar Bazar, Delhi registered vide case FIR No. 1342/24, dated 02.12.2024, u/s 309(4)/3/5 BNS.

CASE FACTS

On 02.12.2024, complainant Sh. Rajat Rajpal visited Sadar Bazar to purchase toys. Upon reaching near Teliwara Chowk, he was accosted by three unknown accused persons, who robbed Rs. 50 thousand cash from him by choking his neck. On raising an alarm, public gathered and one of the accused was apprehended on the spot who was identified as Aakash @ Matthi r/o Nabi Karim. In this regard a case FIR No. 1342/24, dt. 02.12.2024, u/s 309(4)/3/5 BNS, PS Sadar Bazar, Delhi was registered.

INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION

On 19.08.2025, a secret information was received by HC Gaurav Dagar, that accused Mahesh @ Golu, is wanted in a robbery case of Sadar Bazar, Delhi and that he frequently changes his residence to evade arrest. Presently he is residing at Dumoli Khurd, Singhana, Rajasthan area and could be apprehended from there if timely a raid is conducted.

Accordingly, a team led by Insp K.K. Sharma comprising of ASI Shyam Singh, ASI Mohd. Talim, HC Gaurav Dagar, HC Lalit Chaudhary and HC Deepak Nagar under the supervision of Sh. Pankaj Arora, ACP, ARSC was constituted to nab the absconder. A raid was conducted and accused Mahesh @ Golu was apprehended from the area of Dumoli Khurd, Singhana, Rajasthan.

On interrogation, accused Mahesh @ Golu was also found involved/wanted in following cases:

• In case FIR No. 131/22, u/s 394/411/34 IPC, PS Nabi Karim, Delhi NBW has been issued against accused Mahesh @ Golu vide order dated 15.07.2025.

• In FIR No. 23/22, u/s 3 RP(UP) Act, PS RPF Lahori Gate, Delhi Warrant has been issued against accused Mahesh @ Golu vide order dated 14.07.2025.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED

The accused Mahesh @ Golu (29 Yrs.) s/o Laxman Dass r/o Nabi Karim, Delhi belongs to a lower-class family. He studied up to 5th class from Nabi Karim, Delhi. Due to poor financial condition of his family, he left studies and started work as labour. Thereafter, he came in contact of habitual criminals of the area and started committing snatching and burglary. He is married and has one daughter. At present, accused Mahesh @ Golu was living at Dumoli Khurd, Singhana, Rajasthan and was working on a Dhaba.
