Felicitation Ceremony to honor the Drivers of Highway Hero Trust.

Today, Sh. Ajay Chaudhry, Special Commissioner of Police, Traffic Management Division (Zone-II), Delhi, felicitated 20 drivers including Ms. Kavita, Ms. Tulsi, Mr. Roop Mohan, Mr. Sanver Khan etc. at Delhi Police Headquarters, New Delhi, keeping in view the safety, security and cleanliness of the Cars. All these drivers are members of the Highway Hero Trust and owner of their Cars.
The programme was attended by Sh. K. Jegadesan, Special CP/TMD (Zone-I), Sh. D. Karthikeyan, IAS & Ms. Meenakshi Sharma, GM /Delhi Tourism, Ms. Reima Virdhi and Mr. Balwant Singh Bhullar of Highway Hero Trust, Ms. Monika Bhardwaj, Addl. CP/Traffic (Zone-I), Sh. Dinesh Gupta, Addl. CP/Traffic (Zone-II) and Sh. Satyavir Katara, Addl. CP/Traffic, Hdqrs.
While addressing the programme, Sh. Ajay Chaudhry, Special CP/TMD (Zone-II) urged the drivers to follow Traffic rules and regulations in letter & spirit as any visitor in Delhi generally gets the first impression with the first contact in the City with Taxi drivers. He further told that the impression of the visitor linger on for the life as “Experience of the City”.
Sh. Ajay Chaudhry congratulated the drivers for their exemplary services which are appreciated by the travelers on many occasions and also for their sincere efforts to provide excellent tourist services by improving safety, security and gender equality. He wished them good luck for their efforts in making Delhi as Tourist Friendly as possible and also advised them to work with the same zeal, professional acumen and enthusiasm in future to build the image of “????? ???? ??:”
