  Firing Case of East Vinod Nagar Solved; Entire Gang Busted.

  Notorious Criminal Toshin Malik @ Ajju, involved in 50 Heinous Cases, Arrested,

  01 M/cycle & 01 Scooty used in the commission of the crime recovered.

INCIDENT: -

             On 25.08.2025, an incident of firing was reported from East Vinod Nagar, Delhi. The complainant, Sh. Sanjay Chawla, informed the police that his son had a long-standing financial dispute with one Toshin Malik @ Ajju, a notorious and history-sheeter criminal of PS Ghazipur. Due to this dispute, Toshin, along with his associates, had been consistently threatening the complainant’s family with dire consequences. On the morning of 25.08.2025, when the complainant stepped out of his residence, three associates of Toshin intercepted him. During the confrontation, accused Prashant brandished a country-made pistol and fired a shot directly at the complainant. In a stroke of luck, the complainant narrowly escaped as the bullet struck a nearby door instead of hitting him. The assailants then fled from the spot after issuing life threats. Following the complaint, a case vide FIR No. 383/25, PS Kalyanpuri, was promptly registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (109(1)/61(2)/351(3)/3(5)) and the Arms Act (25/27). 

TEAM AND OPERATION: -

     Considering the seriousness of the crime, three dedicated teams were formed under the overall supervision of the undersigned:

 

 

           The investigation was carried out under the direct supervision of the undersigned. CCTV footage, ANPR data, and technical surveillance were thoroughly scanned to identify and arrest the accused persons. The teams launched a systematic investigation by deploying technical surveillance, developing human intelligence networks, and minutely analyzing CCTV footage from multiple locations. Relentless and concerted efforts made by the teams bore result and the accused persons namely Prashant (21 yrs) R/o West Vinod Nagar, Delhi and Usman (22 yrs) R/o West Vinod Nagar, Delhi respectively were arrested based on technical and human surveillance/intelligence. one Bike used for the commission of crime was recovered from the possession of accused persons. On sustained interrogation, accused Prashant who opened fire at the complainant disclosed that the entire conspiracy was hatched by Toshin and he along with his associates were roped in for firing at the complainant and his son with intent to kill them. The weapon of offence was arranged by one Sohail at the instance of Toshin who is currently absconding. 

On 26.08.2025, Toshin Malik @ Ajju (27 yrs), R/o Gazipur Dairy Farm, Delhi who is a key conspirator and hard-core criminal having multiple previous involvements and one along with CCL were apprehended, while they were on run on a scooty used in the commission of the offence. The accused Toshin Malik @ Ajju is a habitual offender with a long criminal history of around 50 cases, including robbery, snatching, theft, attempt to murder and Arms Act across East District and adjoining areas. The accused Prashant is also previously involved in cases of attempt to murder and robbery. With the arrest of Toshin Malik, Prashant, Usman and one CCL, firing incident has been worked out within few hours from the commission of offence. Further investigation is in progress.

• 01 scooty without a number plate & 01 Bike used in the commission of the crime.
