An Armed Criminal Arrested by team Spl. Staff/NED. One Semi-Automatic pistol along with two live cartridges was recovered from his possession.

During the night intervening 25-26.08.25, while patrolling, a team led by Insp. Dheeraj, I/C Special Staff, received specific information regarding an armed criminal. Acting promptly, the team laid a trap near Jheel Park, Welcome, and intercepted a person identified as Amaan @ Mama, S/o Rahees Khan, R/o Kabir Nagar. On searching him, a semi-automatic pistol along with two live cartridges was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case under Sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act was registered at PS Welcome, and investigation was initiated. During interrogation, accused Amaan @ Mama confessed to his crime and disclosed the source of the weapon. Further investigation is underway.
