To be Self-Reliant Atmanirbharta, Use of Technology and Healthy Competition, that are required to be implemented by Delhi Police in a mission mode.
Atmanirbharta: The CP Delhi has directed Delhi Police units to work on this aspect and come up with a proposal within 15 days time. The aim is to make Delhi Police, self-reliant on as many fronts to stop our dependence on other units for things like commandos, bomb disposal squads, wireless sets, etc.
Use of Technology: Speaking on this front the CP/Delhi added that, although Delhi Police has always been making best use of technology and we are way ahead on this front, but still there is a need to go further. Whether it is a matter of surveillance system, preventing Cyber Crime,   Anti-Drone Technology, the ability to fight terrorists, the use of technology is required in every field. The CP/Delhi has directed Delhi Police units dealing in technology related matters to form committees and groups and conduct necessary studies and come up with proposals in a months’ time  to enhance use of technology in Delhi Police.
Healty Competition:  Talking about another important aspect of Hon’ble Prime Minister’s speech, the CP/Delhi stressed that we need to build a sense of healthy competition and shun the feeling of jealousy. We need to embrace this principle at individual and as well as at the organisational level. The CP/Delhi has advised the units and districts of Delhi Police to work on this principle to develop a sense of healthy competition among themselves.

The CP Delhi while expressing concern said that despite working so hard, even beyond the working hours, somewhere we have not been able to win the trust of the public in the form that we should have done. The CP Delhi further suggested that every policeman needs to come out of feudalistic mindset and shift attitude from ‘Shasak Bhav’ to Sewa Bhav to earn the trust of public. This will enable public to approach police without any hesitation in case of need.                                              The CP, Delhi also congratulated the 18 Officers & personnel of Delhi Police who have been awarded Police Medals for 'Distinguished Service' and 'Meritorious Service' on the occasion of this Independence Day.
