New Delhi, August 15 : On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, Delhi BJP President Mr. Virendra Sachdeva hoisted the national flag today at the Delhi BJP office in the presence of esteemed guests.

Present on this occasion were MP and former president Mr. Manoj Tiwari, Organization General Secretary Mr. Pawan Rana, General Secretary Mr. Vishnu Mittal, Vice Presidents and MLAs Mr. Rajkumar Bhatia and Mr. Gajendra Yadav, MLA Mr. Shyam Sharma, Office Secretaries Mr. Brijesh Rai and Mr. Amit Gupta, Media Head Mr. Praveen Shankar Kapoor, Media Relations Head Mr. Vikram Mittal, Women’s Wing President Mrs. Richa Pandey, Youth Wing President Mr. Sagar Tyagi, Former MLAs Mr. Subhash Sachdeva and Mr. Nitin Tyagi, and several other dignitaries.

In his message, Mr. Sachdeva extended greetings to the people of the nation and Delhi. He paid tribute to the martyrs of Pahalgam and congratulated the Indian Army for the success of Operation Sindoor, which restored India’s pride.

Mr. Sachdeva stated that after a decade of anarchic governance in Delhi, today’s 79th Independence Day is especially joyful for Delhiites. He pledged that everyone would work together with the Delhi Government to reshape Delhi.

Mr. Virendra Sachdeva emphasized that Independence Day is not only for making national resolutions but also for resolving to eradicate social evils.

He expressed regret that even after 79 years of India’s independence, the social evil of harassment & staring of women still brings us shame.

He appealed to the people of Delhi to take a pledge this Independence Day to free our sisters, daughters, and daughters-in-law from the ogling eyes of men in society, so that they too can live their lives freely.
