Setting an example of patriotism and national unity, under the leadership of Delhi BJP President Mr. Virendra Sachdeva, the BJP Delhi Minority Morcha organized a grand Tiranga Yatra (tricolor march) in the Jama Masjid area today with hundreds of enthusiastic participants from the Muslim community.

The yatra began from Meena Bazaar near Jama Masjid and witnessed massive participation of Muslim women, children, youth, and elders. The sight of the waving Tiranga in their hands and the sparkle of patriotism in their eyes was truly inspiring.

During the yatra, the streets around Jama Masjid echoed with slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Vande Mataram,” and “Hindustan Zindabad,” immersing the atmosphere in the colors of national pride.

Present at the event were Delhi BJP Minority Morcha President Mr. Anees Abbasi, former Vice Chairman of the Minority Commission Mr. Atif Rashid, Morcha In-Charge Mr. Qari Mohammad Haroon, along with Irfan Salmani, Shabana Rehman, and Mr. Imtiaz.

Addressing the Tiranga Yatra, Delhi BJP President Mr. Virendra Sachdeva said that this march from Jama Masjid to Red Fort by the Minority Morcha aimed to send a strong message.

He stated that beginning from the religious landmark Jama Masjid and ending at the democratic symbol Red Fort, the march sends a clear message that the nation is above all religions, and will always remain so. The way our Muslim brothers and sisters carried the Tiranga to express their love for the country has set a powerful example.

He added that the Tiranga Yatra has been taking place in Delhi for the past four days, and today marks its final day. Out of 256 divisions in Delhi, Tiranga Yatras were conducted today in the remaining 52 divisions, with the participation of state office bearers, district presidents, and grassroots workers, expressing their love and respect for the nation.

Event organizer Mr. Anees Abbasi said, “Our Tiranga is our identity, our unity, and the pride and glory of our India.” He emphasized that the Muslim community has shown through this yatra that patriotism comes first for them. Patriotism is not tied to any one religion—it is the voice of every Indian’s heart. Today, this event stands as a living example of dedication to the nation, unity, and brotherhood.

Mr. Abbasi further stated that members of the minority community should rise above religion, caste, and language to preserve the integrity, brotherhood, and peace of the nation through unity.

On this occasion, Mr. Atif Rashid said that today is a historic day for the Jama Masjid area, as such a large gathering of Muslim women, elders, and children have come forward holding the Tiranga, expressing their love for the country. He credited this possibility to the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, whose government truly works for “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Together with all, development for all).

Mr. Qari Mohammad Haroon added that every community played a role in India’s independence, and even today, all Indians together remember and honor the sacrifices of those martyrs.
