Government should give free electricity to Delhi's Ramlila Committee

Shri Arjun Kumar, President of Shri Ramlila Mahasangh has written a letter to Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Shri Vinay Kumar Saxena and Delhi's Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta demanding that on the lines of Haj and Kavad, Delhi's Ramlila Committee should be given free electricity, mobile toilets, financial support. Shri Arjun Kumar also informed that since the Mughal period, Delhi's Ramlilas have been getting all facilities free of cost, even today Delhi Municipal Corporation provides electricity, water and all other facilities free of cost to the Ramlila organized in Ramlila Maidan. There is a lot of faith in the Leelas of Lord Shri Ram, which has been going on for centuries, Ramlilas are staged not only in Delhi but all over the world. Ramlilas are our cultural heritage, we are working to take this heritage forward.

Shri Subhash Goyal, General Secretary of Shri Ramlila Mahasangh informed that Ramlila staging ceremony will be celebrated from 22 September to 3 October, it will be held all over the country on 2 October on Dussehra. Lord Shri Ram's Ramlila will be grand with full enthusiasm. Ramlila is not just a matter of faith, but it is such a cultural and religious heritage that gives dignity, brotherhood, love, harmony and unity, by staging Ramlila people take inspiration from the ideal life of Lord Ram and also give good values ??to their children. If the government cooperates, then in the coming times, the ideals of Lord Ram will be propagated more effectively, which will strengthen the environment of love, brotherhood and harmony in the society.
