SEXUAL EXPLOITATION UNDER PRETEXT OF MARRIAGE: ACCUSED ARRESTED, DIGITAL EVIDENCE RECOVERED

• ACCUSED ARRESTED BY PS ANAND PARBAT FOR SEXUAL EXPLOITATION UNDER PRETEXT OF MARRIAGE.

• INTIMATE VIDEO OF THE VICTIM UPLOADED ON INSTAGRAM WITHOUT CONSENT.

• INVESTIGATION AIDED BY CDR ANALYSIS AND SECRET INFORMATION.

• DIGITAL EVIDENCE RECOVERED

BRIEF OF INCIDENT:

On 26.06.2025, the complainant, a 24-year-old woman identified as Y, reported at PS Anand Parbat that Mohd Sohil s/o Aftab Ahmad had engaged in sexual relations with her on the pretext of marriage. The accused also secretly recorded intimate videos and uploaded them on Instagram.

Subsequently, FIR u/s 69/115(2)/351(2) BNS PS Anand Parbat was registered, and investigation was taken up.

TEAM AND OPERATION:

A dedicated team comprising SI Urvashi, HC Suresh, HC Ajay, and Ct. Amit was formed under the supervision of SHO Anand Parbat.

The team conducted a meticulous investigation utilizing CDR analysis and information from secret sources, the team successfully traced and arrested the accused. The accused was identified as Md Sohil @ Sonu s/o Aftab Ahmad, age 26, resident of Badaun, UP.

Investigation confirmed the accused’s modus operandi, including exploitation and unauthorized recording/sharing of intimate content. Digital evidence related to the crime was recovered. The team continues efforts to trace any further accomplices involved.
