In the main Independence Day function in Burhanpur, State Water Resources Minister and District In-charge Minister Tulsiram Silawat hoisted the flag and took the salute of the parade. Devkinandan Silawat, Dr. Mandakini Silawat and District Haj Committee Vice President Rehan Ansari also attended the function from Indore. Burhanpur MLA and former minister Archana Chitnis, Collector Harsh Singh, SP Ashutosh Bagri along with public representatives, officials and common people were present in large numbers in the Independence Day function.
