The primary class students of Keshav International School celebrated the festival of Rakshabandhan in a unique and inspiring way this year.

The students expressed their gratitude to the Superintendent of Police of the city – Raghuvansh Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police – Pratipal Singh Mahobia, Reserve Inspector – Akhilesh Rai and other policemen by tying rakhis to them for their continuous efforts to keep the society safe from anti-social elements, and also expressed their respect for the work of protecting health by tying rakhis to sanitation workers.

Along with this, all the police personnel and sanitation workers also gave gifts to the students.

The students also tied rakhis to the trees, taking a pledge that they will protect nature.

All the rakhis were made by the students themselves with seeds and eco-friendly threads. This initiative is part of the school's tradition under Aatmanirbhar Bharat, under which students prepare 'Seed Rakhi' every year. After the use of Rakhi, the seeds in them are planted in pots, so that this festival also gives the message of environmental protection. This year also this work was done under the guidance of Ashish Pandey.

Vice Principal Jitendra Khatedian, teachers Vinayak Aheriya and Udit Pandya had special contribution in the success of the program.

Director Om Sharma said that "With this unique initiative, the students learned that protection is a bilateral promise - just as the sanitation workers, police force and trees protect us, it is our duty to protect and respect them too."

Principal Mrs. Shalu Jain appreciated this initiative and wished Raksha Bandhan.
