The gift of increasing greenery year after year Oneness Forest Campaign of Nirankari Mission

Continuing to advance the green consciousness and unwavering dedication of Sant Nirankari Mission towards the environment, on Sunday, 17 August 2025, under the fifth phase of the 'Oneness Forest' project, many new places across the country will be connected to this public participation campaign. From 6:00 am to 9:00 am, thousands of sevadars and devotees will unite and reiterate their loyalty and pledge to protect nature through tree plantation.

The 'Oneness Forest' project, started in the year 2021 under the divine guidance of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, is not just a tree plantation venture, but an important campaign to awaken the feeling of balance and co-existence with nature. It teaches us that we are not separate from nature but are an integral part of it. Therefore, protecting it is actually protecting one's own life and future.

These planted groups of trees have attained such prosperity that they are gradually taking the form of a 'mini forest'. This change is not limited to greenery only, but migratory and rare species of birds, whose existence was once on the verge of extinction, have also started taking shelter in these mini forests.

Undoubtedly, all these organisms have an important role in maintaining biodiversity and environmental balance. 'Oneness Forest' is not only becoming a means of protecting the environment, but it is also re-establishing a spiritual relationship between man and nature. A relationship which is a symbol of 'oneness' in the true sense.

It is worth mentioning that under the 'Oneness Forest' campaign, tree plantation has been done at more than 600 places across the country so far. This initiative is not only a means of increasing greenery, but is a meaningful effort towards establishing a sustainable and balanced environment in the form of 'mini forests'. The volunteers of the Mission are taking care of these plants with dedication and devotion because for them each plant is not just a tree, but the basis of the breath of future generations.

This golden message of Pujya Baba Hardev Singh Ji - “Pollution, whether inside or outside, is harmful” - has become the basic inspiration for this entire campaign. Inspired by this consciousness, the volunteers of Sant Nirankari Mission are sincerely working towards environmental purity as well as internal purity because when the mind is pure, then only thoughts, speech and deeds are also pure.

Shri Joginder Sukhija Ji, Secretary, Sant Nirankari Mandal, informed that under ‘Oneness One’, plants are selected according to the local environment and they are cared for with organic manure, clean water and modern techniques, so that long-term greenery can be ensured. He said that in this era of environmental crisis, this initiative of the Mission is not only timely but also a source of inspiration for the society.

Undoubtedly; this is a shining example of the sense of responsibility towards nature by Sant Nirankari Mission, which inspires the society to move forward in the direction of co-existence and balance.
