Seven-day Faculty Development Program successfully concluded

A seven-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the topic 'Enhancing Research Capacity through Modern Research Methods in Management' was successfully organized at Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior from 25 July to 31 July 2025.

The objective of this program was to make teachers, researchers and students aware of the latest tools of research and encourage them. The theme of this FDP was 'The Regenerative Mind: Designing Innovation at the Crossroads of AI and Sustainability in Management', in which special focus was given on promoting innovation by combining artificial intelligence (AI) and sustainability.

The coordinators of the program were Dr. Praveen Aronkar (FDP-Coordinator) and Dr. Pratiksha Saxena (FDP-Co-Coordinator). The guide of the program was Prof. Dr. Garima Mathur (FDP-Mentor) and the Principal of the institute Prof. Dr. Rakhi Singh Chauhan was the speaker.

More than 110 participants from various prestigious institutions of the country participated in this seven-day program. These included participants from cities like Kolkata, Nashik, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Noida, Kanpur, Nagpur, Kharagpur, Vadodara, Indore, Jaipur, Varanasi, Delhi, Bhopal, Mathura, Agra etc.

Expert speakers participated in the FDP, prominent among them were Dr. Narendra Chaudhary (Associate Professor, Sparsh Global Business School, Greater Noida), Prof. Dr. S.S. Bhakar (Group Director, Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore), Dr. Atul Shiva (Assistant Professor - Finance, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida), and Dr. Smita Dayal (Program Chair - PGDM, Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi).

During the FDP, the participants were trained in the use of AI in research, basic and advanced SPSS, EViews and modern software tools like SmartPLS 4.0. The participants gained hands-on experience and developed and presented 17 research papers, which will be published in various edited books in the future.
