Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva has said that Delhi Aam Aadmi Party President Saurabh Bhardwaj, who is upset with the electoral defeat, has become upset with the success of the arrangements made by the BJP government for cleaning of drains and sewers before the monsoon and quick drainage of waterlogging during the rains in Delhi this year and is showing his political irritation by making baseless statements on this.

Mr. Virendra Sachdeva has said that while demanding audit of drains and sewer cleaning, Saurabh Bhardwaj also forgot that the order of de-silting audit given by the Delhi High Court on 8 April 2024 last year came on a petition filed in 2018 regarding the de-silting scams of his Arvind Kejriwal government and according to that order, the then Arvind Kejriwal government was asked to get a third party audit done of the de-silting claims by its various departments by 30 June 2024 and make it public, which the Arvind Kejriwal government never did.

Mr. Virendra Sachdeva has said that the people of Delhi saw with their own eyes last year 2024 alone about 40 innocent lives lost due to waterlogging and also saw that the Kejriwal government did not get a third party audit done of de-silting even after the order of the Delhi High Court, which clearly shows that the Kejriwal government committed a scam in the name of de-silting for ten years.
