In just five months, by making the Delhi Assembly solar-powered and paperless, the BJP has demonstrated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision is indeed a vision of meaningful change – Virendra Sachdeva

Leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress should explain why, despite demands from the middle and lower-income groups, their governments failed to enact any legal provisions for school fee regulation in the past 27 years – Virendra Sachdeva

Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva stated that the monsoon session of the Delhi Assembly, starting today, is a historic session. Whether it’s the procedural arrangements or the bills and reports presented in the House, all have collectively made today a historic day.

Shri Virendra Sachdeva expressed pride that, inspired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision, Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta and Assembly Speaker Shri Vijender Gupta, through their dedicated efforts, have transformed the Delhi Assembly into the country’s first solar-powered legislative assembly in the short span from February 20 to August 4.

Alongside this, a digital system has been implemented from today, making the Assembly paperless. This step has made the democratic system more transparent and robust.

Shri Virendra Sachdeva said that within just five months, by converting the Assembly to a solar-powered and paperless setup, the BJP has proven that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision is one of genuine transformation.

The Delhi BJP President also stated that on the very first day of the monsoon session, Smt. Rekha Gupta’s government has introduced the Delhi School Education Bill, providing relief to parents from the middle and lower-income groups by enacting a law for fee regulation. At the same time, two CAG reports tabled in the Assembly have once again exposed the corrupt and anarchic governance of the Arvind Kejriwal government.

Shri Virendra Sachdeva further challenged that if leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are questioning Smt. Rekha Gupta’s Delhi Education Bill, then they must explain why, despite the long-standing demands of the middle and lower-income groups, their governments did not implement any legal framework for school fee regulation over the past 27 years.
