Cabinet Minister and Collector symbolically distributed cheques to the beneficiaries of the district

Cabinet Minister and Collector planted saplings in the premises of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Jhabua

In India, an agricultural country, with the resolve to make agriculture a profitable business, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi started the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on 24 February 2019, in which financial assistance of Rs 6000/- is provided to each eligible family in 03 equal installments of Rs 2000 per year.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi transferred the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh to the accounts of more than 9.70 crore farmers across the country through a single click.

The live telecast of the program in the district was seen at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Jhabua in the presence of Cabinet Minister Women and Child Development Department Ms Nirmala Bhuria and Collector Neha Meena. During the program, an amount of more than 26.75 crores was transferred to more than 1.33 lakh farmers of the district. Cabinet Minister Women and Child Development Department Ms. Nirmala Bhuria and Collector Neha Meena symbolically distributed cheques of the amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi to the beneficiaries. Cabinet Minister Women and Child Development Department Ms. Nirmala Bhuria said that the 20th installment is being transferred to the farmer brothers and sisters. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, various schemes are being run to make agriculture a profitable business.

Collector Neha Meena said that 100% saturation has been done in the district under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana by the staff of the Revenue Department, for which the entire team deserves congratulations.

After the program, the Cabinet Minister and Collector planted saplings in the campus of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Jhabua. During this, Deputy Collector H S Vishwakarma, Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue Jhabua Bhaskar Gachle, Deputy Director Farmers Welfare Department Jhabua Nageen Rawat, Superintendent Land Records Jhabua Pawan Kumar Vaskel and other officers and farmers were present.
