Farmers are not getting fertilizers, Congress Committee Petlawad submitted a memorandum regarding the problems of farmers

Jhabua At present, the general public and farmers are troubled by the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh, in which mainly the poor class and farmers are facing a lot of problems.

Regarding the problem of which, a memorandum in the name of the Governor was handed over to the Sub-Divisional Revenue Officer by taking out a rally by the Block Congress Committee Petlawad under the leadership of District Congress.

The said rally was led by District Congress President Prakash Ranka, former MLA Walsingh Maida.

Prakash Ranka informed that on one hand the government says that it will double the income of farmers but today farmers are most troubled.

At present, while on the one hand farmers are troubled due to irregular rainfall, on the other hand farmers have soybean and maize crops in their fields.

Farmers are not getting fertilizers for those crops.

The district administration should provide fertilizers to farmers in sufficient quantity through cooperative institutions.

But the government is not able to provide fertilizers to farmers. Due to shortage of fertilizers in the entire district, there is an uproar among farmers. Farmers are not getting fertilizers and are facing problems by standing in queues all night to get fertilizers.

Fertilizers are being given to farmers through Aadhar Card. Petlawad Block Congress Committee and District Congress Committee have demanded that two bags of fertilizers per bigha should be given to farmers. There should be adequate facilities like drinking water, shade etc. for farmers at all sales centers. This demand has also been made by District Congress.

 

Fertilizers are being received at cash sales centers. The number of distribution centers should be increased. District Congress President Prakash RK also said that when the district administration knows how many crops are being sown in how many hectares in the entire district, fertilizers should have been stored according to that with prior preparation so that farmers can get fertilizers on time.

On this occasion, a demand was made to increase the number of Aadhar Card centers. Addressing the rally, former MLA of Petlawad, Wal Singh Maida said that the farmers of Petlawad area are advanced farmers, they cultivate all the crops, but at present, due to the wrong policies of the government, farmers are suffering the consequences. Many farmers have been declared defaulters by the government institution. They have to take fertilizers in cash. Farmers are also ready to take fertilizers in cash, but fertilizers are not available. The centers are also less, long queues are being formed. Maida has demanded to increase the fertilizer sales centers.

Former MLA demanded that Aadhar Card Centre be opened in every cluster village so that the villagers can be relieved of their problems. On this occasion, former District Panchayat Vice President Thakur Chandraveer Singh Rathore Sanrgi also addressed and he told that in the survey conducted by the Agriculture Department, the area under tomato and chilli cultivation is being reported to be less due to which farmers are suffering losses whereas the maximum cultivation of chilli and tomato is done in Petlawad. There has also been a demand to increase the area in the survey. The program was conducted and the memorandum was read by District Congress Treasurer Salim Sheikh Bamniya Wale. On this occasion, Thakur Hanuman Singh Dabdi, Block President Gana Jitendra Patidar Petlawad, Munnalal Sarangi, Deepak Charan Jhaknawada, Petlawad District Panchayat Member Vikram Maida and Thakur Ajay Pal Singh Barvet, Anil Trivedi, Sukhram Naeem Sheikh, Manalal Hamad, Bharat Muleva, Javed Lodhi, Hemraj along with many Congress Sarpanchs and public representatives were present in large numbers.
