ONE MALE AGED 39 YEARS, MISSING FROM THE AREA OF PS BEGAM PUR FOR 02 MONTHS, TRACED BY THE TEAM OF NR-II/CRIME BRANCH

In a significant achievement, a team of the NR-II Crime Branch, Delhi, has successfully recovered a 39-year-old male person who had been reported missing for the last 02 months. The operation was conducted through sustained and coordinated efforts, including careful analysis of technical inputs and on-ground intelligence gathering.
 
INCIDENT:
 
On 15.05.2025, a GD entry was registered at PS Begam Pur, Delhi, regarding the missing of a major male person. The victim’s sudden absence caused deep concern for his family, prompting the Delhi Police to launch an immediate search and investigative effort to trace his whereabouts. In furtherance of the efforts, a reward of Rs. 20,000/- was got declared by the local Police to anyone who informs about or helps in tracing him.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION:
Acting on the directions of senior officers, W/HC Seema Kalyan under the close supervision of Insp. Sandeep Swami and overall guidance of ACP/NR-I Sh. Ashok Sharma employed a multi-pronged strategy involving the Mobile phone location and informer related to him. Parallel to this technical evaluation, on-ground enquiries were conducted by her to gather actionable leads.
Later into the investigation, W/HC Seema Kalyan got valuable tipoff and mobile to search for the missing person and his location was found to be in Sec 23 Rohini Delhi. Inspector Sandeep Swami was informed about this and a search party was prepared. HC Seema and HC Sumit was immediately acted on this intelligence and launched a search operation in the area. As a result of their quick and meticulous efforts, the victim was recovered safely.
Following the recovery, the missing person was brought to PS Begam Pur and handed over to the Investigating Officer vide GD No. 136A dated 30.07.2025. Further necessary action will be carried out by the concerned police authorities to ensure the victim’s safety and bring those responsible to justice.
This successful operation underscores the unwavering commitment of the Crime Branch, to trace missing persons and restore them safely to their families.
