ACTIVE DESPRATE SHOOTER OF NITU DABODIYA GANG ARRESTED

WANTED IN FIRING INCIDENT OF PS KANJAHWALA.
A SOPHISTICATED PBERRAT 7.65 MM PISTOL (MADE IN ITALY) ALONG WITH A LIVE CARTRIDGE RECOVERED.

INTRODUCTION:

The team of Insp Krishan Kumar, AGS, Crime Branch has arrested a desperate member of Notorious Neetu Dabodhiya Gang namely Dev Vart@ Mohla s/o Vijay Kumar r/o Majra Dabas, Delhi age 33 years involved in firing incident of PS Kanjhwala. Illegal weapon including a semi-automatic Pistol with 01 live rounds recovered. The accused had firing spree with recovered weapon to create sensation in the area.

INCIDENT, INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION:

The team of AGS is continuously working to arrest desperate criminals & gangsters active in Delhi/NCR. In the intervening night of 30th and 31st July 2025, a firing incident was reported at the residence of a local complainant in Village Majra Dabas, allegedly triggered by a personal dispute. In this regard a case FIR NO. 348/2025 dated 31.07.2025 u/s 125 BNS r/w 25/27 Arms Act PS Kanjhawala has been registered. During the preliminary enquiry, the assailant was identified as Dev Vart. It was further revealed that he had previous associations with the infamous gangster Nitu Dabodia, who was neutralized in an encounter by the Special Cell in 2013. The information of this gangster was developed and effort finally yield result. On 31.07.2025, Secret information was received by HC Deepak that a desperate gangster of notorious Neetu Daboda gang who wants to ignite the gang and wants to create the havoc in the area had having firing spree yesterday would come to Dwarka with illegal arms to meet his gang member.

Sensing the sensitivity of the matter, a raiding party led by Inspectors Krishan Kumar under the close supervision of ACP Bhagwati Prasad. The team included SIs Agam, Brij Lal, Mukesh; ASIs Mintu, Narender, Surender; HCs Tariq, Anoop, Deepak, Vinod, and Dharamraj. Accordingly, a trap was laid and the accused Dev Vrat @ Mohla was nabbed with a semi-automatic Pistol having one live cartridge recovered. In this regard a case FIR NO 197/2025, dated 31.07.2025, u/s 25 Arms Act PS crime Branch has been registered.

INTERROGATION:

On interrogation accused stated that he is associated with infamous Neetu Dabodia gang and previously involved in murder and extortion cases. While he was in jail, his gang leader, Neetu Dabodia, was expired while having encounter with police in year 2013.

He further stated that after release from jail, he wants to activate his gang and for this purpose, on intervening night of 30/31 July 2025, he had fired several bullets in village Majra Dabas, Delhi.

PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENTS:

FIR No. 0040/2012 – Registered under Sections 302/201/34 IPC at PS Sahabad Dairy, Delhi.

FIR No. 0150/2013 – Registered under Sections 387/34 IPC at PS Kanjhawala, Delhi.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED:

The accused, Dev Vart @ Mohla, is a native of Village Majra Dabas, Delhi. He studied up to Class 10th.

In 2012, Dev Vart, along with his associate Sumit @ Motia, was involved in the murder of an individual named Rohit. He was arrested and remained in judicial custody for 10 months before being released on bail.

In 2013, he, along with his associate Satyakaam, was involved in a case of extortion, demanding money from one Manjeet.

Dev Vart is a known associate of the Neetu Dabodia gang, which has a history of involvement in murder, extortion, and other organized criminal activities. He has previously been booked in cases related to murder and extortion.

At present, the accused is attempting to revive and expand the influence of his gang and is planning to carry out violent criminal acts to reestablish his dominance in the area.
