New Delhi, 26 July: The Delhi BJP organized 140 programs across all 14 organizational districts to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas. These events included tricolor processions, victory marches, lectures in educational institutions focusing on the Kargil victory, tribute ceremonies at martyr memorials, and felicitations for the families of martyrs. Local MPs, MLAs, and state officials participated as well. Mr. Ashok Thakur coordinated the district-level events.

Delhi BJP President Mr. Virendra Sachdeva paid homage to the valiant soldiers today at the National War Memorial located near India Gate.

Also present were State Organization General Secretary Mr. Pawan Rana; State General Secretary and Member of Parliament Mr. Yogendra Chandolia along with Ms. Kamaljeet Sehrawat; State General Secretary Mr. Vishnu Mittal; and BJP Media Relations Head Mr. Vikram Mittal. They observed the inscriptions at the War Memorial that depict the ultimate sacrifice and bravery of the soldiers.

On the occasion, Mr. Sachdeva extended congratulations to the people of Delhi and the entire nation, emphasizing that today is a day of valor, pride, and triumph for our armed forces—a moment of pride for every Indian. He recalled that the Kargil war, fought under then Prime Minister the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, saw the Indian Army decisively defeat Pakistan-supported terrorism.

Mr. Sachdeva stated that today is not just an event to commemorate but a moment for all Indians to feel pride and unity. He added that whether it is Operation Sindoor or surgical strikes carried out under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the nation remains resolute in its determination to eradicate terrorism at its roots.
