International President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Shri Alok Kumar has said that "Cow is no longer just a symbol of faith, but is the backbone of self-reliant India. If we cannot protect the cow, then we will not be able to protect our culture and self-respect either!" He said in clear words, "More than 22,000 Gaushalas of the country have become a living model of economic self-reliance and environmental protection. Now the central government will have to make a dedicated, strong and all-party law for cow protection. If a uniform policy for cow protection is not implemented in the entire country, it can shake the cultural foundation of the nation."
Alok Kumar warned that the mistake of considering Gaushalas as only religious institutions will not work anymore. “Only cows can make India a world leader again. Now cow protection is not just a moral responsibility, it should become a priority of national policy. He was addressing a meeting-cum-exhibition held at the office of Rashtriya Gaudhan Mahasangh in Hauz Khas.

Providing employment to more than 20 lakh people.
Summit convenor and former MP Sunita Duggal said in emotional words, India's welfare is not possible without protecting Krishna's cow and Shiva's Nandi. Cow service is not just a religion, it is a great path of national service. She said that during the summit, cow shelters across the country will exhibit their products and present various models of self-reliance.
