? WEAPON OF OFFENCE i.e. AN AUTOMATIC PISTOL ALONG WITH TWO LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED FROM HIS POSSESSION.
? ONE STOLEN APACHE RTR 160 WITHOUT NUMBER PLATE RECOVERED FROM HIS POSSESSION.
? TWO FIRED CARTRIDGES AND TWO LIVE CARTRDIGES RECOVERED.
? DACOITY CASE OF PS V.K SOUTH IS WORKED OUT WITH THE ARREST OF ALL 11 ACCUSED PERSONS INVOLVED IN THE CRIME.

A team of Special Staff, South West District has achieved a significant breakthrough by apprehending all 11 accused involved in a high-profile dacoity case of PS VK South. With their arrest, one automatic pistol, one country-made pistol, two empty cartridges, two live cartridges, a Scorpio car and a Hyundai Aura car used in the crime, multiple mobile phones used by the accused and approximately ?7 lakhs in cash were recovered from their possession.
 
INCIDENT, TEAM & OPERATION:
On 24.06.2025, an incident of dacoity occurred involving the theft of ?30 lakhs from a businessman at Farm House, Ghitorni, Delhi and a case vide FIR No. 271/25 u/s 310(2)/311/127(2)/140(3)/61(2)/317(2)/331(6)/351(2)/3(5) BNS was registered at PS Vasant Kunj South, Delhi and investigation was taken up.
To solve the case, a dedicated team of Special staff/SWD under the leadership of Insp. Vijay Baliyan comprising of SI Vikram, SI Nitesh, ASI Manoj, HC Vinay, HC Jag Parvesh, HC Sanjay, HC Sumer, HC Chetram, Ct. Suraj, Ct. Mahaveer, Ct. Sanjay was constituted under the supervision of Sh. Vijay Kumar, ACP/Operations/SWD to nab the accused persons.
On 18.07.2025 at approximately 01:45 AM, acting on credible intelligence, the Special Staff laid a strategic trap near Bijwasan-Najafgarh road, close to the Dwarka Expressway Flyover in Bijwasan. The primary accused, Dinesh Verma @ Billu R/o Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Age 40 years was intercepted while attempting to flee on a motorcycle. When challenged to surrender, accused opened fire on the police team, with one bullet striking the bulletproof jacket of HC JagParvesh, fortunately causing no injury. In self-defense, the police fired two rounds, resulted in Verma sustaining a gunshot wound to his right leg knee. He was immediately transported to Indira Gandhi Hospital, Dwarka, for medical treatment. A separate case has been registered against him at PS Kapashera for this incident.
During interrogation, accused Dinesh Verma, the mastermind of the case confessed to orchestrating the dacoity and supplying arms to his associates. He has a documented criminal history and previously involved in 07 heinous cases of robbery, murder and Arms Act. He is also wanted in an attempt to murder case in PS Mithanpura, Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
In the present case, a total of 11 accused persons have been arrested in the case. The dacoity was meticulously planned, with Adesh Kumar, a former driver of the complainant, identified as a key conspirator. The group exploited insider knowledge to target the businessman’s farmhouse. Verma, a known criminal with a history of drug addiction and unemployment, led the operation, leveraging his experience in heinous crimes to execute the plan. The bravery and coordination of the police team were critical to the operation’s success, particularly in neutralizing the threat posed by Verma’s gunfire.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED:
1. Accused Dinesh @ Billu R/o Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Age 40 years is mastermind of dacoity. He studied upto 10th grade, hails from a poor family in Ghaziabad. Unmarried and unemployed, he turned to crime, extorting money from businessmen at gunpoint. His criminal activities span multiple states, making him a significant target for law enforcement. He has a documented criminal history and previously involved in 07 heinous cases of robbery, murder and Arms Act. He is also wanted in an attempt to murder case in PS Mithanpura, Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
2. Accused Adesh Kumar R/o Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, Age 38 years is former driver of complainant & main conspirator.
3. Accused Satender Singh R/o Aaya Nagar, Delhi, Age 34 years. Permanent resident of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh is driver of complainant.
4. Accused Anil R/o Aaya Nagar, Delhi, Age 54 years is driver of complainant.
5. Accused Santosh Tripathi R/o Murena, Madhya Pradesh.
6. Accused Shammi R/o Savitri Nagar, Delhi, Age 59 years. 
7. Accused Amit Kumar R/o Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh.
8. Accused Ashish @ Nilu R/o Bulandshahar, Uttar Pradesh.
9. Accused Vikas Chaudhary R/o Bulandshahar, Uttar Pradesh.
10. Accused Devendar Singh @ Gandhi R/o Bulandshahar, Uttar Pradesh.
11. Accused Arvind Tyagi R/o Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
 
TOTAL RECOVERY:
1. One automatic pistol, two empty cartridges & two live cartridges.
2. A Scorpio car and a Hyundai Aura car used in the crime.
3. A stolen motorcycle.
4. Multiple mobile phones used by the accused.
5. Approximately ?7 lakhs in cash.
 
CASE WORKED OUT:
1. FIR No. 271/25 u/s 310(2)/311/127(2)/140(3)/61(2)/317(2)/331(6)/351(2)/3(5) BNS, PS Vasant Kunj South, Delhi.
