Under the ‘Matridhara Abhiyan’, Nari Shakti gave the message of environmental protection through a street play

On the initiative of Collector Neha Meena, “Matridhara Abhiyan (Power to Nature from Women Power)” has been started in Jhabua district with the aim of promoting environmental protection and tree plantation with the participation of women. Under the “Matridhara Abhiyan”, a special street play on the topic “Power to Nature from Women Power” was organized under the aegis of Mrs. Annu Bhabor and Shri Parshurameshwar Ramayan Mandal, Meghnagar Naka. The women members of the Mandal participated enthusiastically in the program and gave a strong message of environmental protection to the public. Through the street play, it was told how women can make an important contribution in the conservation of nature through their role. Also, a special message was given in the street play for the conservation and protection of trees. During the street play, Mrs. Annu Bhabor gave the message of environmental protection by singing a self-composed Bhili song. The objective of the program was to spread awareness among the general public about the environment and to inspire them to conserve natural resources. Locals, women, youth and children were present on this occasion and they appreciated the performance of the artists. The members of the Mandal appealed to everyone to take small steps for environmental protection, such as - plantation, less use of plastic, water conservation etc. After the street play, everyone took an oath to protect the environment. At the end of the program, all the participants and spectators were thanked on behalf of the Mandal and an oath was taken to take this campaign forward continuously. In the street play, Parshurameshwar Ramayan Mandal Mrs. Savita Paliwal, Mrs. Hema Sharma, Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma, Mrs. Aruna Bairagi, Mrs. Meena Songara, Mrs. Rajkumari Sharma, Mrs. Jhamku Bhabor, Mrs. Deepa Pant, Mrs. Rekha Vishwakarma, Mrs. Tina Chaudhary, Mrs. Bhavana Soni, the street play was directed by Mujjamil Khan and assistant direction was done by Mayank Bhavsar, Deepesh Prajapati, Krishna Bhuria.
