THREE MISSING/KIDNAPPED GIRLS RESCUED BY AGS/CRIME BRANCH, DELHI

INTRODUCTION:
In a notable operation, a team of AGS/Crime Branch, Delhi Police, under the supervision of Inspector Kashmiri Lal, and consisting of SI Layak Ali, W/HC Ruby, HC Sandeep, and Ct. Manjeet, has successfully traced and rescued three missing girls, two from Districts Bahraich and Shravasti in Uttar Pradesh, and the third from Dwarka, Delhi.
CASE DETAILS:
1. A minor girl aged 16 years, reported missing since the year 2023, in which FIR No. 89/2023, U/s 363 IPC, was registered at PS Aman Vihar, has been traced and recovered from District Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. A reward of ?25,000/- was declared by the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, for information leading to her recovery.
2. A girl namely ‘X’, aged 20 years, resident of Ashok Vihar, Delhi, was reported missing since 15.05.2022, vide DD No. 36, registered at PS Ashok Vihar. She was recovered from District Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh. A reward of ?20,000/- was announced by the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, for information leading to her recovery.
3. A girl namely ‘Y’, aged 19 years, resident of Goyala Dairy, Delhi, went missing on 04.12.2024, after leaving for tuition classes. Her missing report was recorded vide DD No. 71A, at PS Chhawla, Delhi. She was recovered from the jurisdiction of PS Palam Village, Delhi, and was safely handed over to her father at PS Chhawla.
OPERATIONAL DETAILS:
Acting under the directions of senior police officers, a dedicated team of AGS/Crime Branch comprising W/HC Ruby, SI Layak Ali, HC Sandeep Singh, and Ct. Manjeet, was constituted under the supervision of Inspector Kashmiri Lal, and the overall guidance of ACP/AGS Shri Bhagwati Prasad.
The team adopted a multi-layered operational strategy including technical surveillance such as detailed analysis of Call Detail Records (CDRs) and mobile tracking, alongside field intelligence gathering. Based on actionable inputs and credible local information, the team proceeded to two different remote locations in Shravasti and Bahraich districts of Uttar Pradesh.
DETAILS: 
MISSING No. 1:
The team traced the minor victim listed in FIR No. 89/2023 from District Bahraich, at the residence of her in-laws, specifically Anwar S/o Akbar Ali. A tactical and well-coordinated raid resulted in her successful rescue. She was brought back to Delhi and handed over to the Investigating Officer, SI Sandeep, of PS Aman Vihar, for further legal proceedings.
MISSING No. 2: 
The team initially proceeded to District Shravasti, and traced the missing girl ‘X’, at the residence of Shri Nand Kishore. She was found residing there with her mother-in-law and informed that she had solemnized marriage with Sh. Kuldeep (S/o Nand Kishore). Her identity and marital status were verified through Aadhaar card and hospital documents. A written statement was recorded wherein she voluntarily expressed her wish to continue residing with her husband.
MISSING No. 3:
In the case of missing girl ‘Y’, technical surveillance established her movement through Uttar Pradesh, including Lakhimpur Khiri and Muzaffarpur, finally leading to her detection in Palam Village, Delhi on 11.07.2025. She was recovered from the jurisdiction of PS Palam Village and safely reunited with her family at PS Chhawla.
CONCLUSION:
This successful operation underscores the unwavering commitment of the Delhi Police, particularly the AGS/Crime Branch, to trace missing person’s especially vulnerable minors and restore them safely to their families. The Delhi Police reaffirms its dedication to public safety and well-being, and encourages citizens to promptly report any information that might help in preventing crimes or locating missing individuals.
