Congress Committee Demands Urgent Action on Roads and Drainage Issues in Bhaipura Hatkeshwar Ward

Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Ahmedabad's Bhaipura Hatkeshwar Ward is grappling with severe issues related to damaged roads, overflowing drains, and unhygienic conditions. On July 11, 2025, Rajesh Patel (Babu Hathi), President of the 43-Bhaipura Hatkeshwar Ward Congress Committee, submitted a written appeal to the AMC demanding immediate action.

The letter highlights that poor road conditions and clogged drainage have made life extremely difficult for residents. Drain water is entering homes due to the lack of proper disposal systems, creating a serious health hazard and raising the risk of disease outbreaks. Students, elderly citizens, and commuters are facing daily dangers while navigating through the area.

Alongside Rajesh Patel, key Congress members Sankar Bhai, Murali Bhai, Mehul Bhai, Ajeet Bhai, and Jigar Desai have actively voiced their concern and supported the appeal for immediate intervention by the AMC.

The Congress Committee has urged the AMC to promptly repair the roads, resolve the drainage issues, and ensure regular sanitation. They have warned that if these problems are not addressed immediately, a large-scale public protest will be organized by the local citizens.
