National Insurance Company officials met Shajapur SP, demanded investigation of motor claim fraud

Gulshan Paruthi - Gwalior

Deputy General Manager Sameer Kalra and Regional Manager Srinivas Solanki of Government of India's insurance company National Insurance met Shajapur SP Yashpal Singh Rajput and complained about cases of fraud in motor accident claims.

He said that in recent times, the same driver, witness and documents were repeatedly presented in three motor accident claims, which are suspicious. Many times the vehicles of the same vehicle owner were reported to have crashed at different places, while their records are different.

In this regard, the company officials submitted a memorandum to the SP and demanded a thorough investigation of these cases and strict action against the culprits.

SP gave instructions for action

SP Rajput said that considering the seriousness of the documents presented, orders for investigation have been given. He assured that if found guilty, action will be taken by registering an FIR against the concerned persons.

Company's allegation - Insurance fraud worth crores

National Insurance says that some brokers, vehicle owners and so-called witnesses are misleading the insurance companies in an organized manner and making fake claims worth crores. Due to this, not only the company is incurring losses, but it also comes under the category of crime.
