Delhi State Swimming Competition begins.

The Delhi State Swimming Championship was inaugurated today at Talkatora Swimming Pool by Punjab Swimming Association Vice President Balraj Sharma. The competition is being organized under Delhi Olympic Week and Ad-hoc Committee.

In 50 meter backstroke, Bhagya Gehlot of SBS Academy secured first position. While Aditya Dubey of SEDS Academy secured second position and Yash Rathi of Delhi Sports secured third position. In the 4x200 meter men's prestyle relay, DDSC secured first position, Elite SA secured second position and South East Delhi secured third position. More than 100 swimmers are participating in this two-day competition. On the basis of this competition, Delhi's senior men and women's team will also be selected for the national competition, which will be held in Bhubaneswar from 22 to 26 June.
