K. R. Mangalam University Hosts International Conference on AI-Driven Healthcare

Gurugram, 01 May 2026 - The School of Medical and Allied Sciences (SMAS) at K. R. Mangalam University successfully concluded a two-day international conference titled “Pharma and Allied Sciences in the Age of AI: Innovations and IPR Strategies (PASAI–2026)” held in hybrid mode on 27–28 April 2026.
Prof. (Dr.) Hema Choudhary, Conference Convener and Dean, School of Medical and Allied Sciences, stated that the international conference was supported by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research and the Anusandhan National Research Foundation. The conference witnessed participation from 535 delegates representing Singapore, Ireland, Malaysia, IITs, NIPER, and more than 40 national and international universities. In conference featured 227 research presentations, including 116 poster presentations and 111 oral presentations. The sessions covered diverse themes such as AI applications in pharmaceuticals, neuropharmacology, nanotechnology, biotechnology, intellectual property rights, regulatory affairs, and environmental sciences.
Keynote addresses were delivered by Dr. Anoop Singh and Prof. Sanjay Rajpal, focusing on AI-driven drug discovery and innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.
The conference provided a meaningful platform for dialogue on AI-driven healthcare, sustainable pharmaceutical practices, and advanced research initiatives.
Prof. (Dr.) Hema Choudhary further stated that the conference strengthened collaboration among K.R. Mangalam University & academia, industry, and policymakers, & reinforcing K. R. Mangalam University’s commitment to contributing towards India’s vision of becoming a global leader in healthcare innovation.
