New Delhi, April 8: Today, on the occasion of Lord Mahavir’s 2550th Nirvana Utsav and 2624th Janm Kalyanak year, Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva organized the “Tirthankar Lord Mahavir Gatha” event at the BJP National Office Extension. Shri Pragya Sagar Muniraj honored Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva with a certificate of recognition, bestowing upon him the title of “Delhi’s Pride.”

Shri Pragya Sagar Muniraj remarked, “Our country is both religion-centric and agriculture-centric, making it the golden bird of the world. Whether one is happy, sad, rich, or poor, it is all determined by one’s actions, and thus improving our actions should be our top priority.”

He further stated, “In a country where both the Prime Minister and the President are vegetarians, spreading the message of Lord Mahavir becomes very easy.”

He also expressed that the inclusion of religion in politics makes politics more beautiful, but religion should never be politicized. “Our country is moving towards being a developed nation, and we must work towards that goal.”

Shri Virendra Sachdeva expressed his gratitude, saying, “We are truly fortunate that today, in our karma-bhoomi, the BJP office, we are receiving Lord Mahavir’s teachings. After listening to Maharaj Ji’s discourse today, we realize that our cultural heritage depends on the teachings of Lord Mahavir, focusing on peace and non-violence. I can confidently say that the day I became president, I sought Maharaj Ji’s blessings, and he gave me a blessing for victory. Following that, we won the Lok Sabha elections and now our victory in the Assembly as well. The message of ‘Live and let live’ that Lord Mahavir gave continues to resonate with us today.”

He concluded, “As the Delhi BJP President, I can assure you that we will continue working for the welfare of society, following the path laid by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, and we will work towards realizing the vision of a developed nation through peace and non-violence.”

Shri Harsh Malhotra added, “With Maharaj Ji’s blessings, this office and BJP have been sanctified. We must adopt the teachings of ‘Live and let live.’ Today, the world looks towards Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for guidance.” He reiterated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has always worked for societal welfare and will continue to do so in the future.
