The grand Mahamastakabhishek of Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavir Swami was historically completed at 'Ahimsa Sthal Teerth' in Delhi

(Thousands of devotees from India and abroad dedicated their devotion in the Puja-Vidhan, Shobha Yatra, Mastakabhishek in the five-day grand event)

On the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of the twenty-fourth Tirthankar of Jainism Bhagwan Mahavir Swami, a grand Mahamastakabhishek was organized after 24 years at Ahimsa Sthal, Mehrauli with the blessings and presence of Arhan Yoga pioneer Muni Shri 108 Pranamya Sagar Ji Maharaj. In this grand event, Arhan Yoga was organized in the presence of Muni Shri at the Qutub Minar premises at 6.00 am on April 7, in which more than a hundred people took advantage of Arhan Yoga. The Qutub Minar premises reverberated with the resonance of the Namokar Mahamantra. Daily worship, Abhishek and Swadhyay discourses etc. were also held on April 8. On 9th April, Shri Vardhaman Stotra Mahamandal Vidhan was organized in which 501 couples and many devotees performed the Vidhan in the presence of Gurudev with devotion. On 10th April, on the day of Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavir Janma Kalyanak Mahotsav being held after 24 years, the first Kalash of Mastakabhishek was done by the pride of Jain society, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala temple, Rajya Sabha member Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan Virendra Hegde and Surendra Hegde and they took darshan with their families. On the occasion of Mastakabhishek, Bhajan Sandhya based on classical music and a beautiful dance drama was presented by the Mahila Mandal. Ahimsa Sthal Mahamastakabhishek Samiti and Ahimsa Sthal family welcomed the entire Jain community with grand arrangements.

Muni Shri said in his sermon that thousands of devotees have earned Punya by visiting such a huge statue of Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavir, such a grand pilgrimage and this is the greatness of Ahimsa Sthal Tirtha. He blessed all the Shravaks and Shravikaas and inspired them to adopt the principles of Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavira such as Anuvrat, Anekant, Aparigraha, Syadvad etc. with determination throughout their lives. He said that Jainism is such a great religion in which it is said that every soul has the power to become God. Every person can become God by doing penance-sacrifice-meditation-sadhana like the Tirthankars, therefore, one should move forward towards the feeling of self-welfare by adopting the qualities of the Tirthankars.

The principles told by Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavira are valid for every person and are relevant in the present times and only with these principles peace is possible in the whole world. One gets spiritual bliss just by seeing the statue of this beautiful Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavira. When Munishri declared Ahimsa Sthal as Ahimsa Sthal Tirtha and announced the five-year Mahamastakabhishek, thousands of devotees from the country and abroad expressed their happiness by chanting together. There were many objectives of this five-day religious event, the main ones among them were that everyone should have self-welfare, there should be peace everywhere in the world, there should be a declaration of non-violence, there should be mutual love among humans, there should be no terrorism, there should be welfare of the world and there should be upliftment of the nation. On the occasion of Janma Kalyanak Mahotsav, everyone also took motherly pleasure by rocking the cradle of the child form of Lord Mahavir. Devotees were also present in large numbers to give food to Munishri and to see him. From the morning of 11-12 April, the devotion and enthusiasm of the devotees was seen for the Mahamastakabhishek and about 600 people from Delhi NCR performed the Mastakabhishek every day. On Sunday, 13 April, on the completion of the Mahamastakabhishek, Nitya Puja-Abhishek-Shanti Vidhan-Palki-Shobha Yatra was organized from 6 am and from morning to afternoon, about thousands of devotees made their lives meaningful by performing the Mastakabhishek. Jain Shravaks and Shravikaas and followers of other religions from all over India who believe in Lord Mahavir, non-violence, truth, morality and love, all came to attend the Mahamastakabhishek. Leaders, MLAs, industrialists, IAS, IPS, journalists and many other dignitaries appreciated their good fortune by visiting and receiving the blessings of Tirthankara Lord Mahavir and Muni Shri. All the events of the Mahamastakabhishek were completed smoothly and historically. The devotees were stunned to see all the grand arrangements made by the Tirthankara Lord Mahavir Mahamastakabhishek Committee and Ahimsa Sthal Parivar for thousands of people and everyone praised the committee from the heart and congratulated them for the grand event of the historic Mahamastakabhishek. The arrangement of food for thousands of Shravaks and Shravikaas daily by the committee was also praiseworthy. The biggest thing about this event was that no bid was made in it and no devotee was deprived of the Abhishek. All the devotees were given equal opportunity and the devotees who came first performed Mastakabhishek first. Also, the main characters in the worship performed by thousands of people together were those who perform Abhishek Poojan daily at Ahimsa Sthal. Many events are held throughout the year at Ahimsa Sthal but the specialty here is that there is no speech here, only devotion is given importance here and this is the most important thing. In this religious event, prayers were offered for world peace and welfare of all living beings.
