Senior media persons will be honoured with Saptarishi Samman
Indore. Under the Indian Journalism Festival, State Press Club MP will honour national, regional and Indore media persons with Saptarishi Samman in the memory of eminent editors Rahul Barpute, Rajendra Mathur, Prabhash Joshi, Manikchand Vajpayee, Rameshchandra Agarwal, Abhay Chhajlani and Dr. Ved Pratap Vaidik. Senior journalist Mahesh Srivastava will be honoured with Shri Naresh Mehta Smriti Life Time Achievement Award.
Today, Friday 11th April at 7.30 pm, in the Saptarishi Samman ceremony organised in Abhinav Kala Samaj Auditorium, 51 active media persons and 15 senior photographers of Indore city will be honoured. In the programme, MP Shankar Lalwani, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, BJP city president Sumit Mishra and state BJP spokesperson Narendra Saluja will honour the media persons. The program will be presided over by social worker Praveen Kakkar.
On Sunday, April 13, at 1 pm, in the Jal Auditorium, media persons doing self-reliant journalism in Madhya Pradesh will be honored under the Saptarishi Regional Award Ceremony. The list of those to be honored includes Dr. Suresh Mehrotra of Whispers in the Corridor, Dinesh Gupta of Power Gallery, Rakesh Achal of Vakshudarshi News Portal, Anand Pandey of Editor in Chief The Sutra, Rishabhraj Singh of Hum Samvet News Portal, Mangala Prasad Mishra of News Purana.com, Suresh Tiwari of Mediawala.in, Sachin Chaudhary of Bundeti Bauchhar, Gaurav Sharma of MP Breaking News, Jaiprakash Shrivas of PTI, Vinod Tiwari of Dainik Bhaskar.
On Monday, April 14, at 7 pm, in the Jal Auditorium, media persons of Madhya Pradesh doing sharp journalism on the national stage will be honored under the Saptarishi National Award Ceremony. The list of those honoured includes Akhilesh Sharma of NDTV, Rakesh Shukla of Swadesh, Pranay Upadhyay of Amar Ujala, Abhishek Tiwari of Rajasthan Patrika, Prakhar Shrivastava of DD News, Dr Kapil Sharma of News Nation, Durganath Swarnkar of DAVP, Ravindra Anant Bhajni of Lokmat News, Pramod Raghavan of BNH, Abhilash Mishra of News 24 MPCG, Ms Sandhya Sharma of DD News.
