Indian delegation meets Cambodian officials to boost cooperation in energy sector

As part of the Trade and Investment Mission: Cambodia 2025, a high level Indian delegation from Global Trade and Technology Council (India) (GTTCI) and Federation of International Trade and Industry (IFBIC) led by Dr. Rashmi Saluja, President, GTTCI and Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founding President, GTTCI met His Excellency Keo Rattanak, High Representative of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for market expansion, investment and bilateral cooperation in key sectors such as mining, renewable energy, energy infrastructure and oil.

During the discussions, both sides emphasised the strategic importance of India-Cambodia partnership in the energy sector, identifying areas of cooperation that would enhance sustainable development and economic growth. The Indian delegation expressed keen interest in knowledge-sharing, technology transfer and joint ventures in Cambodia’s growing energy landscape. The discussions reaffirmed India's commitment to strengthen trade and investment ties with Cambodia, fostering long-term partnerships in key sectors that will drive economic progress and technological advancement in both countries.
