Sawan Monday: Love God with Truth Bhakti Utsav celebrated with devotees of BSF Tekanpur at Brahma Kumaris Malanpur

On the auspicious occasion of Sawan Monday, a special devotional program was organized with all the devotees from BSF Tekanpur at Brahma Kumaris Seva Kendra Malanpur. On this occasion, Aarti of the Supreme Lord Shiva was performed and the feeling of true spiritual love was awakened.

Addressing the devotees, Brahma Kumari Jyoti sister, the main director of the program, said that "The festival of Sawan is not just an opportunity to fast, but to renounce spiritual evils and establish a true relationship with God." She told that Lord Shiva provides selfless love, strength and support to every devotee, hence we should also maintain the feeling of love, faith and respect in our lives.

Brahma Kumari Bhavana sister, who came from Tekanpur, gave a warm welcome to all the devotees and guests and presented a profound definition of 'Yagya'. He said, “True yagya is to sacrifice not only material things but also negative tendencies of mind – such as jealousy, hatred, selfishness and feeling of revenge.”

Brahmakumar Nitesh said in his powerful speech, “We should live such a good life that at the end of the life, the soul comes out of the body like hair from butter.” He appealed that we should not make our mind sad and do good deeds with the feeling of welfare of all.

The special guest of the program, retired T.D. Verma ji made the devotees feel a true spiritual connection with God.

Thus, this holy day of Sawan Monday was celebrated with devotion, love and spiritual awareness. In the end, the devotees expressed their faith in Lord Shiva with the chanting of “Shiv Shambhu”.
