THE GOLF FOUNDATION 17th INVITATIONAL FUND RAISER

The Prize Distribution of the Tournament was graced by Honourable Minister Mr Hardeep Puri who was the Chief Guest and he was effusive in his praise of the efforts of the Foundation to produce Champions from India.
 
The 17th Edition of the Golf Foundation Invitational Fundraisers was played at the prestigious Delhi Golf Club on the 28th of March 2025 and was won by the pair Karan Mohan Chaudhri and Abhishek Singh who combined beautifully to make a score of Net 57 (15 under).

The father and son duo of Ashit Luthra and Angad Singh finished runner’s up with a score of Net 58 (14 under) while Daman Kochar and Kulvin Suri finished third with a score of 59 (13 under)

This popular tournament, which is played in the two player scramble format, is held with the objective of creating awareness and raising funds for helping and promoting young underprivileged talented golfers. Participants in the tournament included dignitaries, golfers and sponsors who support the efforts of the Golf Foundation to develop champions from India, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds who are passionate, highly dedicated and have a dream of making it big in golf on National and International platforms.

The tournament, which has several innovative skills contests and other activities on course, saw the special talent within the Golf Foundation on display.  They were integrated into the event in an innovative manner which enabled them display their skills while contributing to the performance of the teams on the course.

Speaking at the event, Founder-President of The Golf Foundation, Asian Games Gold Medallist and Arjuna Awardee Amit Luthra said, “We were humbled on being conferred the prestigious Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar, the highest award for sports promotion in India, by the Hon’ble President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind. This was thanks to the efforts of all the people who have supported the Foundation – both directly and indirectly – over the years. And I am grateful to all the sponsors and the Delhi Golf Club for their continued support”.
