ONE ACCUSED INVOLVED IN DRUG TRAFFICKING SYNDICATE ARRESTED BY CYBER CELL, CRIME BRANCH, DELHI

 

FEMALE ACCUSED APPREHENDED IN WHILE IN POSSESSION OF 100 Gms. OF FINE QUALITY HEROIN WORTH OVER RS. 20 LACS IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET SEIZED.

 

Cyber Cell, Crime Branch, Delhi Police, in a robust strategy with a clear mandate of “NASHA MUKT BHARAT ABHIYAAN”, conducted a series of meticulously planned operations across Delhi/NCR comprising of team of Inspr. Vivekanand, SI Satwant Singh, SI Shabnam Saify, ASI Mahesh, HC Parnam, Ct Ravi Kumar, Ct. Sachin and W/Ct. Shikha Singh under the supervision of Sh. Raman Lamba, ACP/Cyber Cell, Crime Branch, Delhi and close supervision Sh. Aditya Gautam, DCP/Crime, Delhi.

 

Inputs were being received regularly about the presence of Interstate Drug peddlers operating in the area Delhi/NCR targeting the local people as well as foreign nationals visiting the area. This was tarnishing the image of India and bringing a bad name. A unique strategy was adopted by the Cyber Cell, Crime Branch, Delhi by deploying its sleuths posing as vendors in the infested area. The 20 days long operation yielded the desired result. On 20.02.2025 the team nabbed a desperate drug supplier namely Sachin R/o Nand Nagari, Delhi Age 36 years and bust an interstate supply network of contraband Heroin and 601 Gms fine quality of Heroin was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 45/25 u/s 21/25 NPDS Act has already been register at PS Crime Branch, Delhi and the investigation was taken up.

OPERATION AND TEAM

 

1. In continuous efforts to apprehend the co-accused persons of the present case on 12.03.2025, a secret information was received to Ct. Ravi Kumar No. 1476/Crime that lady namely Vandana @ Pooja, whose name surfaced in disclosure statement of accused Sachin, is presently residing at Bhopura, UP.  She used to take Heroine from accused Sachin (running in J/C) and sell the same by making pudiyas in the area of Sundar Nagari, Nand Nagari and DLF Bhopura.  Accordingly, the secret information was technically developed and verified and brought into the notice of Inspr. Vivekanand, Cyber Cell, Crime Branch, who after discussion with senior officers directed to take necessary action as per law.

2. On the above secret input a team comprising of SI Satwant, HC Parnam, Ct Ravi Kumar, Ct. Sachin and W/Ct. Shikha Singh under the supervision of Inspr. Vivekanand, Cyber Cell, Crime Branch and Sh. Raman Lamba, ACP/Cyber Cell, Crime Branch, Delhi and close supervision Sh. Aditya Gautam, DCP/Crime, Delhi. 

3. Accordingly, acting on the above-mentioned secret information, a raid was conducted at Bhopura, UP, where one lady namely Vandana @ Pooja w/o Sh. Akash was apprehended with 100 gms. of fine quality Heroine.  

RECOVERY

 

? 100 gms. fine quality heroin worth over rupees 20 Lacs in international market recovered from arrested person.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS

 

Accused Vandana @ Pooja was born in the year 1975 in Nand Nagari, Delhi. In the year 2015 she got married. She studied upto 12th standard.  In the year 2024 she met Sachin r/o Nand Nagar, Delhi, who lured her to purchase Heroine from him and further supply the same by making pudiyas and selling pudiyas in nearby areas and earn good profit.  For earning easy money, she started purchasing Heroine from Sachin and further supply the same in Nand Nagari, Sundar Nagari, DLF Bhopura, Rajender Nagar, Delhi.  

 

Further investigation of the case is undergoing.
